"Reducing Nurses' Workload with AI Voice Recognition 'CareVoice'"

Startup CareMinder (CEO Joongu Kang) unveiled its AI voice recognition-based medical solution 'CareVoice' and smart hospital management system 'CareFlow' at MWC 2025, aiming to penetrate the European market. Through this exhibition, CareMinder introduced AI technology that automatically classifies and assigns patient requests, emphasizing an innovative medical solution that enhances hospital efficiency and reduces nurses' workloads.

'CareVoice' is a system where patients enter their requests via voice through a tablet installed at the bedside, allowing AI to analyze them. Simple requests are automatically responded to, while those requiring professional medical attention are immediately relayed to the relevant medical staff. This system reduces unnecessary waiting times and helps nurses perform their duties more efficiently.

"One of the major inefficiencies in hospital operations is nurses spending time on unnecessary tasks," said Jimin Lee, CTO of CareMinder. "CareVoice is designed to improve this issue by enhancing patient experience and alleviating the workload of nursing staff."

In Korea, 'CareVoice' has already been implemented in hospitals. After being applied at St. Peter's Hospital Gangnam, CareMinder discusses further collaboration with CHA Health Systems. The company also plans to expand into overseas markets, actively seeking partnerships with global hospitals and healthcare companies to establish a presence in the European medical market.

"In Europe, we have also discussed potential collaborations with smart hospital consulting firms," said Lee. "Through this, we aim to refine AI automation solutions for hospitals and develop customized services tailored to the European medical environment."
